Commercial Description:
Kulmbacher Edelherb is pale and dry. Its special taste is thanks to the soft brewing water from pristine, crystal-clear springs of the Fichtelgebirge, the noblest malting barley from regional farmlands, handpicked hops from the Hallertau, and our legendary brewing skills.

bottle from BOM club... a true pilsner... not much aroma at all... pours a light golden color, very clean, crisp and refreshing. slight bitter finish and palate. overall a very drinkable middle of the week beer.

Light aroma of noble hop with some malt behind it. Golden color with a fluffy white head that sort of laced. Near medium in body with frothy carbonation. Flavor is noble hop over light malt. The bitter builds into the finish. It’s not exactly crisp. Fits the style, but not as sharp as Urquell. Definitely a decent pils.

A 1.7/5 is probably being generous. Close your eyes and this could be Budweiser with a slightly better almost ricey finish. Not buying this again.

BOTTLE: pours very clear golden with white head and effervescent bubbles rising. Aroma and appearance are nice for a pils. Nice body at finish as it rolls down the tongue. Short finish. Not bad for a pils.

Golden pour with large white head. Aroma of straw and alcohol. Smooth taste and even finish. Decent Pils.

Beer club selection. Good looking pilsener, poured a clear pale yellow with a brilliant white head. Nothing special in the aroma - slight bready maltiness offset by slightly spicy hops. Just a sense of sweet maltiness and no hoppiness to speak of. Very nice carbonation on the light body. Not a great beer, but certainly very refreshing and drinkable.

Very matter of fact drinking beer. It’s a Pilsner yes, but there’s many others which have more style and flavor. Weak aroma and that nice easy drinkability. Bone dry finish is fine, but the level of hop flavor is very shallow. Any flavor present is very hesitant to rise up and be heard, tasted or seen. Feels like a discount beer to my senses.
