Nov 20, 2009 Pretty solid representation of the style. Clear, dark mahogany color with a 1/4 inch caramel head that left a bit of lacing. Aroma isn’t as aggressive as one might expect for the weight...lots of sugary malt, toffee, coffee, and cocoa. Flavor possesses some nuttiness accompanied by honey, vanilla, and caramel. Medium mouthfeel. Good beer.

Nov 20, 2009 Good Eisbock. A real malt atomic bomb. I’m not sure that I’d ever want more than one in a sitting. There’s not a ton to say about it. It tastes like a bock extract, all candied dates, raisins, brown sugar and syrupy French toast. It’s much more of a straight German malt sweetness than the Aventinus banana bread treacle, though both are pleasant in their own right. I’m probably being generous on appearance. The head is a joke but I’ll give it the benefit of style comparison. Good beer for a cold, hungry night.

Nov 19, 2009 Beer starts with an excellent german dark roasted grain aroma. Beer poors deep mahogony with a slight white head. Flavor is excellent with hints of plum and raisin. Beer finish is suprising as I expected a sticky finish due to the alchol but this wasn’t the case. Overall this beer was excellent and I look forward to having it again

Nov 19, 2009 Dark brown with a small light beige head. Aroma is a nice balance of dark fruit and green appleish esters. Malty and very inviting. Flavour is less exiting, almost a bit "watery" for the strenth and the rather full body with its light but lively carbonation. A solid brew that could use alittle more of everything.

Nov 17, 2009 Bottle. Goodness, this was a very tasty beer. Dark color. Nice date, fig, coffee, pleasant flavor. Warms one’s belly. Nice beer to enjoy after a day on the slopes. Highly recommended.

Nov 16, 2009 Bottle 33cl. Pours an dark brown brew with small quickly disappearing head. Clear filtered. Dark raisins and fruits, chocolate and toffee notes, sizzling. Massive alcoholic impression but well balanced overall. Nice Bock.

Nov 15, 2009 Bottle. Pours a clear red-brown color with a foamy tan head. Aroma is raisins, caramel, dark fruits, alcohol, plums. Flavor is very malty, raisins, soy. Dry mouthfeel and well carbonated. Was hoping it would have a more syrupy mouth.
