Nose is sweet with dark fruits, malts, and brown sugar. The taste is initially sweet with dark fruits and evolves into a malty, molasses, dark fruits blend. A very nice balance of flavors that is not overly sweet. Very good. skoisirius (588), Seattle, Washington, USA

Pours a dark, dark brown that is just barely see through the tiniest bit. A tiny tanned head forms and dissolves quickly. The aroma has very big nutty, toasty, and roasty nose. Hints of coffee are mixed in between. The flavor has a huge hazlenutty roasted start which moves into a dark fruit, chocolatey, and very smooth alcohol finish. The roasted alcohol lingers on the palate for quite a bit after the sip. You can taste the alcohol, but it’s not overpowering at all. A very balanced and solid Eisbock!! Poured from a bottle into a snifter. A nice dark brown color which looked similar to maple syrup. All types of stuff seemed to be going on in the aroma and sort of reminded me of port wine. Taste is really smooth and the alcohol never comes to the forefront. Picked up dried fruits, spicy hops and some sweet malt. It just really mixed well together. Stong malt aroma with a distinct fig or date smell. The intensified alchohol content was very noticable and appreciated on my palate. Flavor-wise, I was greeted by a combination of alcohol burn and strong carbonation that was followed by a raiseny aftertaste. I appreciated every single drop. Highly recommended! eaglefan538 (2403), Wilmington, Delaware, USA

However, the aroma was semi sweet and malty. The flavor did not disappoint and had a touch of coffee or chocolate behind a sweet and malty front. The alcohol was not overpowering but detectable. Nice and smooth mouthfeel with low carbonation. Delicious beer. Will seek out more Eisbocks. grandridge (222), Port Clinton, Ohio, USA

Pours deep amber with off white head. Aroma is fig, raison, and sweet malt. Flavor is slightly hot but not overpowering a nice charecteristic of most eisbocks. Mouthfeel is medium to thick with little carbonation. Dark fruit dominates and finished bitter. troopie (906), USA
