Bottle at Ølfestival 2007. My first beer of the festival (seeing as Sim managed to pinch my Ølfabrikken Ekstra!) One of those I have just never got round to trying. Glad I did eventually. Barley wine looks with a good tan head. Very wheaty and more barley in the nose. Typical strong German bock in the mouth. Strong dark and powerful. Chunky and fruity with plenty of hops showing. Strong, dark and powerful with a great creamy palate. Great start. fonefan (11713), VestJylland, Denmark
