Bottle. High creamy and long lasting white head. Clear yellow body. Mild fruity honey caramel aroma and flavor with low carbonation and a short aftertaste.

At brewery museum cafe. Great light copper and clear with thick frothy head that lasts. Rising bubbles. Aroma is buttery, with sweet malt. The palate has diacetyl and is slick and oily. Not a bad beer but the butter is annoying especially in the aroma. Has festbeer qualities, bock-like with a strong feel. Malty but not too sweet. I’ve had worse.

Bottle:Golden to deep golden, small white head with a little lace; stronger sweetish-grainy nose with a tinge of alcohol underneath; more robust than moderate sweet-bitter flavour, medium bodied; short and solid sweet-bitter finish. Quite a monotonous brew........

(bottle, as Festbier, 5.8% abv) Clear, golden colour with a thick and slightly cream-coloured foamy head. Sweet strawy malty and doughy aroma with light notes of draff and herbal hops. Light-bitter flavour, medium to light bodied with an almost crispy carbonation. Strawy malty taste with doughy and minimal bready elements; rather dry and strawy malty, slightly hop bitter finish. Classical and decent Festbier (23.VII.09).
