KnutAlbert (2174), Oslo, Norway Nov 4, 2006 Rather standard German pilsener. Well balanced between malt and hops, not daring or inventive in any way. Papsoe (9999), Frederiksberg, Denmark Jul 17, 2006 (Bottle 33 cl) Pours a clear, pilsener golden with a small, white head. Nose of aroma hops and pilsener malt. Medium body, sweetish malty without much bitterness. Still unmistakingly German in temper. 170706 gunnfryd (2732), Kristiansand, Norway May 1, 2006 Bottled. Golden colour with a white head. Weak malty aroma with hay notes. The flavour is malty and unharmonic. yngwie (3454), Kristiansand, Norway Apr 17, 2006 Bottled. Clear, golden beer with a diminishing white head. Weak, malty aroma with hay and hops. Mostly the same in the flavor, which is not as weak as the aroma. Medium to thin body with some bitterness at the end. Won’t get the gold medal from me. (060413) EithCubes (1802), Indiana, USA Feb 21, 2006 Slight skunk on opening of the clear bottle. Golden pour, white head. Weak, grainy malty aroma. Bready, sweetish. A little watery. Normally something I’d call a "characterless" beer - thin, not crisp, boring - very little taste at all.
