Commercial Description:
Kulmbacher Pale Lager (Lager Hell) is a tasty, fresh beer with a finely-spiced bouquet. Its smooth drinkability comes from its long period in cold storage.

Bottle. Golden and clear.Low carbonation Slight maltiness and a dry finnish. Medium body and easy to drink. Pleasant if uninspiring.

Bottled, 500m from REAL Supermarket, Bamberg. Orange gold, carbonated, white head. Really quite a hoppy German Lager, grain mash type flavour in the malt which is quite sharp and clean as the beer develops on the tongue, with this fresh grassy, herby (Parsley?) type hop. Better than your average lager.

(Bottle 50 cl) Clear, deep golden with a creamy, white head leaving laces. Soft, clean and malty aroma. Medium body, very soft mouthfeel. Clean, malty notes perhaps with a whiff of honey. A touch of sulphur in the overwhelmingly dry finish. 101106

Picked up in a small getränkemarkt in Franken. An orange beer with a nice white head. The aroma is malty with a light note of grain. The flavor is sweet malty with strong notes of straw and grain, leading to a quite hoppy end. Clean and very refreshing.
