| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jun 13, 2005 (Bottle 50 cl) Dark, deep amber-colour with a tint of red - small head. Very malty nose and pronounced roasted malt flavours. Highly carbonated. Very discreet sweetness, actually more dry than sweet. Rather pleasant but lacks a bit of character and finesse to be excellent. Actually I miss some sweetness here. 260505 MoritzF (4995), Bochum, Germany
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Jun 6, 2005 (swing top bottle) Clear and dark amber colour with a big foamy and lasting slightly off-white head. Quite restrained aroma of toasted malts and some notes of caramel and hops in the background. Medium sweet flavour, medium body. Taste of roasted malts with a well balanced dry and bitterhoppy finish with traces of liquorice. A very tasty and not too fat Bock for my kind of taste. Good ! MiP (9097), Sønderborg, Denmark
