Amber color. Strong cereals flavor. Round mouthfeel with sweet caramel flavor. I feel the alcohol which is not very good. Ordinary.

2007-09-21, Bottle at Stockholm Beer Festival 2007, 5-3-6-3-10
Muddy amber color. Light malt aroma. Good body, some sweet malt and caramel flavor, not very bitter, quite simple.

Dark amber with a fluffy head. Sweet aroma with traces of burnt malt. Sweet in the flavor as well with a vinous edge. Malty and caramelly with a good spicyness and some bitterness in the aftertaste.

500 ml bottle with a porselain swing capsle sounding like gun-shot when opening (smoke included). Huge coarse big-bubbled beige head with laces clinging to the glass. Brilliant dark copper to light amber colored body. Starts with a nutty and sweet malty smell, followed by scents of caramel, bread and roast. Sweet-flavored; toasted malts, caramel and dark dried fruits. Mild refined hops towards the end. Good body. Light sugery mouthfeel. Short acidic-fruity and light bitter end. Reliable.

Bottle from Riepen, Harrislee. Pours a redish amber with a small creamy yellow-ish head. It disappears quickly though. Aroma has caramel, an ashy feel as well as a little strawberries. Lively mouthfeel. Falvour is surprisingly dry, not as sweet as other bocks. the ashy feel arrives again as well as some bitterness.

Meritevole.
