Intensely toasted and nutty aroma over a malty-sweet base with light cocoa and grassy touches. Boldly sweet malts gain a nutty, toasted edge before a lightly roasted and floral finish; very smooth, clean acidity. Creamy full with lively carbonation.
Drying, almost to the point of astringency, but wonderfully malty and nourishing otherwise.
50cl bottle, best before 25 May 2009.
Pours an inviting caramel gold hue, accompanied by a foamy, off-white head of respectable size. The aroma is pleasantly rich--plenty of pure, bready malts and nutty toffee. Beyond that are layers of floral honey and sweet tree sap. Strong sweetness initially with light acidity, finishing lightly bitter but with more acidity than I care for in a bock. Slightly over medium bodied--light for the alcohol, in fact--with a sticky texture and just enough carbonation to keep things moving along. There’s pleasant sweetness to be found here, but the beer gets a bit unclean with room temperature. 50cl bottle.

There is something about this Bock that I don’t like in the taste but overall a good bock. Fullers74 (61), Denmark

An amber-orange beer with a tall head. Aroma of chocolate, malt, caramel, nuts. Very sweet. Flavor is also very sweet: strongish, nutty, grainy, with chocolate, caramel, and lots of malt. A nutty amber malt finish. Not a very interesting bock.
