The color is golden and it has a small white disappearing head. The flavor is sweet and dominated by aroma hops. A very wellbalanced beer, and a good fest bier. Papsoe (15109), Frederiksberg, Denmark

| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Aug 24, 2005 Bottle. Malty aroma, but also a little acidic in a not so nice way. Golden colour, small white head. Flavour is OK. Malty, but with a touch of alcohol that gives it a good mouthfeel. Low bitterness, hint of hoppiness. Oakes (8142), Kowloon, Hong Kong

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Sep 25, 2009 On tap at the 2009 Huber Haus Oktoberfest. This is touted to be the first time that this beer is served at the Huber Haus according to the Owner of the bar. I was at the festival last year and did not see this beer (attention theisti). Dark golden color with a medium frothy white head. This has a biot more graininess to the aroma, and a slight biscuit scent. Malt sweetness is present, but lighter than many of the fest beers of this ilk. Again, the finishing palate of the Monchshof beers is just slightly on the harsh side for me. Good beer, though. pivo (2537), Germany
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Jan 21, 2003 Smells like a burlap sack at first. Nice gold color and a low head. Has a grainy taste like a stone ground wheat cracker. Medium body. Didn’t quite get the overall goal of this, but it wasn’t bad. YogiBeera (2437), Hamburg, Germany
