Jul 2, 2008 Swing top bottle. A lightly hazy pale amber beer with a rich and quite persistent white head. The aroma is lovely malty, quite sweet but with a good dose of hops. Some caramel and bread notes. The flavour has a balanced sweetness, tasty bready malty notes and some hops. Nice medium body, average carbonation, medium long finish with medium bitterness. Tasty.

Jun 19, 2008 Swingtop, Hamburg-Bremen. Mellow nutty caramel sipper with licks of woodsy bitterness. Simple and distinctly English-tasting. Caramel, walnut, light roast and malty goodness. Nice.

Jun 16, 2008 This is lightly hazy brownish light amber with a very big off-white head slowly shrinking to a thin top and leaving a hint of lace. The aroma is bread, yeasty sourdough, crust, pine, leaves, hint of caramel. The taste ios very bready and leafy with some spice, hints of caramel, pine, lemon, and it’s a bit zesty. It’s quite nice, a bit dry, but with flavour and easy to drink.

Jun 9, 2008 ...swing-top bottle. Well, I thought this was a wheat beer, but it wasn’t. I was still satisfied though. Nice consistancy, good malt flavor with promanent hop notes. Roasted and sweetish, bready, malty, with a slight fruityness. Good beer.

May 29, 2008 Updated: Jun 10, 2008Mini Keg (5 liters). Poured muddy copper with a off-white, frothy head which left good amounts of lace. Aroma was quite malty with strong notes of sweet biscuits, sticky toffee, golden syrup, lightly cooked butter, brown sugar and a subtle fruitiness in the back. Flavor was similar to aroma with sweet dry biscuity malts, a light crisp bitterness, some brown sugar, golden syrup and a subtle fruitiness (berries/lychee?). Light to medium bodied with medium carbonation, dry mouthfeel, watery texture and a ok finish. Quite an easy session beer.

May 27, 2008 A very refreshing and clean beer. The beer smells nice enough a little grainy and yeasty with a light citrus hint. The beer pours with a small head that doesn’t stick around for long. The taste is light malty, a little salty, & a little citrus-y. Finishes bitter. A tasty beer.
