Commercial Description:
The naturally-cloudy Mönchshof Kellar beer is the result of Mönchshof's centuries-long brewing tradition and of the love of traditional beer brewing. This amber color, mild beer appeals to lovers of unfiltered beer, the way it used to be. A tradional Mönchshof beer specialty.

Bottled, dark murky yellow color, with thin foamy head with no lacing. Very weak nose nose with with some hints of hay. Flavour has some malts, but quite watery. I missed the fresh white wurst and cabbage from next to it...

My first Keller. Pours with a small, foamy, dark, off-white head covering a cloudy, dark brown body. Aroma of fruits (currants), hay, and honey. Taste is refreshing and light. Fruity with some yeasty notes in the taste. No bitterness and tons of sweetness, kind of watery, and unconcentrated. Watery mouthfeel. Very easy to drink.

Pours a soft subsistent pale copper yellow with a one finger white head. The nose is not entirely dissimilar from other lagers as is the same with the appearance. Smells grassy, light sweet malt accents, wet hay, not skunky and no cardboard, very light fruity notes. The flavor is lightly sweet, grassy, some wet hay, crisp, very very mild hop presence, almost indistinguishable. Has a nice mouthfeel, carbonation evident and soft. The finish is sweet upfront and then fades grassy and very lightly bitter.

The color was brassy/gold. The head was fizzy, white, and thin. The aroma was wet hay, caramel malt, and salt. The flavor was sweet, light bran, and some hops. The palate was lively. The finish was clean.

Pours a lightly cloudy golden body with an enormous frothy off-white head. Long lasting head retention and considerable carbonation. Malty aroma.

Flaske. Udmærket øl, orange ravfarvet med et lille skum. Malt duft men den er ikke så dominerende i smagen der er mere frisk end hvad man forventer sig fra farven og duften. Bitter finish.

Deep golden amber. Sweet malty aroma and flavour, caramel and white bread crusts, very low bitterness. Delicious.
