It’s definitely worth a try if you’ve never had one! AleDrinker (1090), Sunnyvale, California, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Nov 4, 2007 Pours amber/red with medium long-lasting head. Aromas are huge of caramel malt, very potent caramel malt. Reminds me of a really potent ESB. Flavor dry but still pretty round. | 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Oct 22, 2007 500 ml bottle from Bevmo. My bottle reads "Kellerbrau." Pours a hazy orange-brown, with an off-white head that receded to 1/8 inch and held. Aroma was faint with wood, dust, and some sweet malts. The flavor is a bit unusual with earthy malts, light cloves, and rye grain. The mouthfeel is a bit thin up front, but develops into a pasty finish. Overall: an interesting beer--not sure if I would recommend it just yet. AskForJenny (656), Ontario, New York, USA
