Nice clean malty pilsner, not very crispy with the hops though. thewolf (5828), Kolding, Denmark

| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Jul 26, 2007 It is almost as if this kellerbier (cellar-beer) has a cellar like taste, the earth-tone colour and slight earthy/stone-like taste. This is an unusual remark, which is however considered a good thing in this delicious brew. It has some of the weissbier qualities, but also a bit of spice and other fruit-tones, one senses apple among others. beerinmarch (2829), Washington, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Jul 24, 2007 This is one fine lager. Pours dark mahogany with a soft off-white head. Very rich caramel malts, bready and warm with a soft balanced hop finish. Very smooth and easy drinking on the palate. Exceptionally good malty lager. ucusty (1915), Wake Forest, North Carolina, USA

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Jul 20, 2007 16.9 oz. bottle. Pours a slightly hazy antique gold with a moderate biscuit colored head that faded to a film by mid-glass. The aroma is pretty light with some caramel and a bit of sweetness. The flavor is lightly sweet with caramel and some light grassy flavors. Ever so slight hops presence at the finish. Quite smooth with a medium mouthfeel. Very quaffable brew, as I polished off this bottle way too easily! Braudog (3778), Dayton, Ohio, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 5/5 | 13/20 | Jul 18, 2007 500ml swing top. Pretty dark amber with a very thin head. Reddish brew. The aroma is almost like iced tea and there does turn out to be a little bit of leafy tea-ness as you drink this amber lager. Otherwise it’s a milky, maltly, lightly carameled concoction that goes down way too easily! (#3028, 7/16/2007) argo0 (6998), Washington DC, USA
