Commercial Description:
The naturally-cloudy Mönchshof Kellar beer is the result of Mönchshof's centuries-long brewing tradition and of the love of traditional beer brewing. This amber color, mild beer appeals to lovers of unfiltered beer, the way it used to be. A tradional Mönchshof beer specialty.

Bottle. Pours a bit hazy orange amberish colour with a fair mostly diminishing beige head leaving a nice lacing. Aroma of toasted malt and caramel with fresh hops. Ok mouthfeel. The flavour has a good toasty maltiness with caramel, bit yeasty, bitter hops, bit frutish and herbish. The finish is toasty, dry and bitter.

Bottled. Hazy bronze colour, average head. Grassy, lightly yeasty nose. Dry with well rounded mouthfeel and fairly solid body. Grassy hops takes the foremost place. Doughy malt and yeast backs up. Finishing dry and salty.

50 cl bottle. Fresh, caramel, toffee aroma. Dark coppery color with a white head that filmed, leaving tatters of lace. Thin to medium bodied. Mild carbonation. Fruity, malty, at times nearly zesty. Smooth. The hop bitter is almost absent, but it does show in the finish. This is almost a cola sort of experience. Really nice and really different. Shelton Bros. does it again.
