Aroma is fairly slight, some lightly sweet grain and faint woodiness present, along with gentle accents of herbal hop. Medium golden amber color, hazy and sedimented, with a slight, lasting white head and accompanying ’yeast tornado’ on the pour. Flavor is a decent blend of grainy, toasty, doughy, honeyish malt sweetness and lightly spicy, leafy, fruity hops, accompanied by tinges of light bitterness and a gentle yeast presence. Texture is effervescent and clean, body is light-medium. Mildly interesting. MrManning (1652), London, Ontario, Canada

Deep amber pour with a thin ring of white froth and some minute dusting. Mild caramel aromas with mild malts, and a side order of grassy hops. This is very sweet and grassy, and a neat combination of the flavours mentioned above. Like an amber helles or something. A little thin on the finisn, with not many hops coming through. Thanks for a new style Mike D S! mds (2112), Toronto, Ontario, Canada
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | May 4, 2006 Bottle. Pours a cloudy orange-brown body with a small white head. The aroma is bready with notes of caramel cookie sweetness and toast. Flavour-wise it didn’t really pack as much of a punch as others I’ve had in the style - less nuances and such. Despite this it was still very quaffable with toasty and earthy malt flavours and a reasonably thin hop profile. Flavor is again matly and a litle flat. Very smooth and slightly bitter. Pretty decent for a keller although i have only had one other to compare it to. ultraspank (866), Dublin, Ohio, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Apr 7, 2006 Fresh nose of sweet grain and cereal. The brew pours a cloudy honey amber. The stiff
white creamy head has good retention and leaves fair lace. Mostly malty on the tongue
with a toasted character that maintains a level balance. The meaningful finish is both fruity
and floral. The medium body is creamy and lively.
