Faintly hazy amber with a medium, but fairly durable head and some nice lace. Toasty grain, biscuit, and a distant roasted nuttiness. Medium body, and a very gentle effervescence match up well to yield a satisfying mouthfeel, not sticky nor particularly dry either. Solid malty flavor up front, but not overly sweet, followed by a subtle, spicy bitterness at the finish. Very drinkable, enjoyable brew in a style that is not often seen.
