Commercial Description:
Our gold-yellow Mönchshof Country Beer impresses by its recipe. The finest spicy hops produce its full-bodied aroma. Its aromatic malt flavor comes from noble summer barley. Special proprietary yeast and the soft water, ideal for brewing, from the pristine springs of the Fichtelgebirge add to its traditional export beer character. A real pleasure.

Botella. Golden colour, nice white creamish head. Malty, bit hoppish aroma with grains. Ok mouthfeel. Bit malty flavour with grains, little bit of wet dog and some bitterness.

This has to be one of the best lagers I think I’ve ever had. Not funky in any way, a good clean crisp flavor, not overly dry, but a nice light everything, dryness, hop, malt and crispness. Excellent. Very very refreshing.

Clear golden with a large white head. Malty aroma with grassy hops and grainy notes. Flavour was again malty with caramel and grassy hops that gave it a bitter finish.

500 ml flip=top bottle in Germany. A good land beerand who knows what this should be classed as but its not a lager to me. A bit light in both flavor and taste. Overall a good beer would not go out of my way for it but would drink again gladly.
