Partyfass. Pours a Pours a clear red/brown with a small tanned head. Smells nutty. Sweet with aromas of caramel and a bit of burnt grain. Tiny hint of eggs. Medium bodied. Medium carbonation. Mellow bitter finish.

Partyfass. Almost black with a medium sized tan head. Malty and toasted with notes of chocolate, toffee and grain. A bit too sweet and not enough burnt and roastedness - but otherwise fine.

Swing-top bottle. Pours black, with a huge, airy tan-colored head. Sweet aroma of dark malts. Chocolaty flavor, with plenty of malts and a nice hoppy background.

A big tan heads nearly overflows a pint glass. Dark with red. Big aroma is sweet malt with some roastiness and dark fruit. Flavor offers a surprising amount of unroasted barley. This beer is a malt producer’s dream. It is full of malt with only the smallest hint of hop, despite what the commercial description says. Became more complex as it warmed with some coffee and dark fruit showing up.

Bottle Swing top. Pours a dark but clear black with a nice sized white head that laces all the way down. The nose is nutty and sweet. Taste is not expected, but very dry and roasted. Palate is quite thin. The aftertaste is bitter, dry, and long lasting.

seemed a bit mild, but enjoyable. Poured a nice dark-brown color with a thick bone color head. Aroma had hints of cocoa and other dark malt notes. Flavor seemed balanced between sweet malts, mild hops and a roast nutty quality. Finish was smooth and dry. No real smoke note which i am accustomed too.
