Pours very dark. Nice creme head. Nose is very malty. Slight sweet tone to it. Flavor is beautifully robust. Thick malts. Seems to have a slight spice to it. On the end I get some nice coffee tones. Feel has a good carbonation and a thick liquid feel. Nice and hearty. Overall a good brew. Nice and hearty and thick. Worth trying.

Bottle 50cl. The beer pours a reddish brown color, with a lightbrown head. The aroma is roasted and has notes of malts and caramel. The palate could be more ’dark’, with more roasted malts, Overall the beer has the light feeling of the pils, and the flavor of a darker beer.

Bottle. Excellent flavor and mouthfeel. Malt comes through before the crisp finish.

Really interesting flavor and palate. It begins very malty on the aroma, but not so much on the palate. I like this beer and its balance between maltyness and bitterness. Not heavy and very drinkable.

Pours cola brown with small bubbly head. Soy inthe nose dominates, with roasted coffee flavor. Not a bad beer.

Bottle. Ruby mahogony beer with a nice light tan head. Slight roasty, caramel aroma with mineral tones. Light roasty/caramel/ earthy flavor with floral/spice hops balancing. Easy to drink, but stays interesting. Slightly lighter bodied. LIngering hops and malt stay balanced.

Pint bottle acquired in a trade with Acknud. Pours a thin, clear reddish brown. Kind of cola like in appearence. Small offwhite head with some lacing. Dry and light mouthfeel. Flavor of hops and grains and as the beer warms, some malt and caramel sweetness. Easy drinking brew.

Flip-top bottle. Pours a deep brown color, with a creamy light brown head. The aroma is sweet malts, with caramel. It is very roasty, and has a nice hop balance in there. The beverage makes for a good desert beer.
