Bottled. Pretty nice and easy drinking as advertised but for whatever reason I preferred some of the other schwarz’s out there.

(Bottle) Pours a deep brown color with a mediocre tan head. Lots of malt in the aroma, with some chocolate and dusty notes. Taste is similar, with some light burnt caramel and roasted nutty notes in addition to the cocoa. Well balanced, with a sweet aftertaste. A good schwartzbeer that I could drink a lot of...

pours dark, dark brown with moderate off-white head. aromas are chocolate roast, spicy hop, and some toffee sweetness. taste is initially tangy with some spicy hop then it turns to its smooth chocolate and toffee sweet malt nature. the finish is nicely spicy bitter. good stuff.

Berlin Trip beer No.11. On draft. Dark nut brown body, small tan head. Flavours stated out quite brackish with a porter/stout quality mellowing into a long sweet finish. A very decent brew, one of the best dark beers I had in Berlin.

500ml bottle. Very dark reddy brown, almost black without the light behind it. Roasted mat and bitter aroma. Huge dark roast hit. Some coffee in there too. Bitterness well combined with burntness

Flip top bottle sampled with Beerded_one. Pours deep clear bronze with a decent size off-white head. Aroma of roasted caramel malts, spices, sweetness. The flavor is sweet, caramel, toasted malts, and light traces of bitter hops. Good brew.

500ml swingtop. Dark brown with some purplish highlights, small beige head. Roasty sweet nose, bread and molasses, a whiff of smoke. Soft, roasted, dark malt flavors, a lightly dry sweetness. Light licorice notes. Body is smooth, but on the light side. Finish fades quickly, a lightly sweet roasted malt. Very good!
