| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | May 8, 2005 Descent Swartzbier but nothing to brag about. Good dark brown pour with a thick white head. Aroma was malty and very sweet with chocolate and fruits. Taste had a wierd bitterness which I could not quite place. The caramel malts came through more as it went down. Finish had a good cola feel with less sweetness then cola. Descent but not great. Newbie (22), Denver, North Carolina, USA
