Bottle. Pours a clear dark brown, with a cream coulored head. Aroma is dark bread, sweet malts, and perhaps some fruityness. Taste is sweet, malty, a touch of caramel, and hoppy bitterness. Short to medium sweet aftertaste, and a watery mouthfeel. This is a very nice drinkable schwarzbier

(swing top bottle) Dark mahogany colour with a medium sized off-white foamy head. Aroma of toasted malts and caramel. Slight sweet flavour and a nice roastmalty taste with a lasting dry and soft bitterhoppy finish. Medium bodied with a creamy texture. A quaffable Schwarzbier.

This is my first Schwarzbier, sop maybe I am missing something. I thought this was a weak beer with watery texture. medium malt and low hops taste have to try some more to make sure.

Brown, big off-white head. Raisin bread aroma. Nicely carbonated, with a mildly fruity flavor up front, with some pronounced roasty characteristics. Mellow nad rich, with a sedated bitterness. Finishes with a earthy hop bite.

hmm--deep brown with a frothy head that doesn’t last long. lots of malt malt malt, just a touch of balancing hops show up. it’s a ’black pils’ just like the description. good but i think i had higher expectations.

Descent Swartzbier but nothing to brag about. Good dark brown pour with a thick white head. Aroma was malty and very sweet with chocolate and fruits. Taste had a wierd bitterness which I could not quite place. The caramel malts came through more as it went down. Finish had a good cola feel with less sweetness then cola. Descent but not great.
