5L mini-keg. Pours a dark brown head with copper highlights. Lacing, beige head. Smells of toast, brown sugar, and a hint of smoke. Tastes the same. Finish is a little dry, metallic, and thin.

had this lousy beer at the publican (which also sucks balls). so it poured pretty dark brown but still letting light pass through. lots of head. tasted pretty nutty, but not really in a good way. pretty much just a throwaway beer, i know i certainly was just getting through it.

Pours brown with white head, malty aroma, flavor is malty with caramel, roasted flavors. Light bodied and drinkable, minimal hops. Nothing exciting here, but a good brew.

Bottle. Pours clear brown with a large, creamy, light brown head, mostly lasting with good lacing. Aroma is heavy malt (cereal, nutty, meal), light hops (grass), average yeast (sweat, earth, broth) with notes of dates and cola. Medium bodied, creamy texture, average carbonation, and a chalky finish. Average duration, light sweetness and acidity, moderate bitterness.

Bottle. A clear, reddish dark brown beer with a creamy beige head. Roasted on the nose with dried fruits and some caramel. The flavor is malty-sweet with roasted notes. A decent flavor of dried fruits also blends in. Medium to full body. A decent and easy to drink macro schwarzbier, but it lacks a bit on the roasted side, and gets a bit dull after a while. Tasted on tap. Classic Schwarzbier flavor, with a decent amount of hops. Not much of a finish, but pretty good.
