fishingnet (1001), Brandon, Florida, USA Jan 28, 2007 Poured a dark brown/amber color with great clarity, large off white head that quickly fades with good lacing. Great roasted malt aroma of bitter sweet choclate and coffee. Taste is the same with a slight caramel flavor and a well balanced hop bitterness. This beer is too easy to drink.
gam (679), brisbane, Australia Jan 4, 2009 Dark red brown pour clear good carbonation large head aroma coffee beans caramel maltiness flavour roasted coffee beans caramel nice bitterness with the roasted taste coffee seems to dominate malt not all that strong to even up the flavours rather boring taste to the finish but drinkable. ceffalo (25), , Texas, USA Dec 31, 2008 A thinly malty aroma. A nice cola like color with a decent foamy blonde head.
Taste is malty with little power for the palate. A bit watery and thin, but a decent taste.
A fair beer without being special. KimJohansen (5208), Copenhagen V, Denmark Dec 31, 2008 Clear brown with a large beige head. Sweet aroma with roasted malt, caramel and rye bread. Very sweet flavour with roasted malt, caramel and delicious chocolate. Finished sweet. Quite full bodied for a beer of this strenght. I am impressed.
