LETICIA. The beer had a grassy and grainy hops aroma with a slight fruit presence and a touch of malt. It had a somewhat cloud amber-gold color with an average sized off-white head that had modest cling and retention. Its flavor had some sweet malt and light fruit tones, but was most hoppy and grainy. The beer was a bit thinner and on the dry side with light-average carbonation.

I loved how a beer could be dense and tasty, and the cereal aromas and flavors really surprised me. Now, lots of good beer later, maybe it was not so fantastic, but it has a "raw" touch that makes it really nice. TheGrandMaster (1875), Auckland, New Zealand
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Nov 8, 2007 Draught at the brew pub, a hazy amber with a filmy white head. A light aroma, just a little bit of malt coming through. A much creamier mouthfeel than the filtered version, though the malty flavour is less toasted. Surprisingly, I don’t think this is as good as the filtered version again. almosi (279), Viña del Mar, Chile

Has a dark enough color, I would say that dark bronze, (gold and copper). has head great, great it foams. (Probably for the barrel). The aroma is strong enough, brown malts and acid herbs. An average, rather light body. In the palate it is rather fruit-bearing, with a good finish, something acid. In general has good flavor, light. Good. Lilith (242), Santiago, Chile
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Dec 27, 2006 Sample brught in a bottle from a 5 liter barrel Due to its transportation my sample lost its carbonation, besides that, the beer was in great conditions. Nice dark golden color, unfortunately with just a small lacing. Aroma is great, mostly malty, fruity (of apricot and apples) some dough, caramel, butter. Flavor is smooth, fruity with some bitterness near the end.

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Dec 25, 2006 5 Liter Barrel:
Pours a clear dark golden color with a huge, white fluffy head. It has good retention and leaves a nice film.
Aroma has subtle english hops but is mainly malty with notes of herbs, straw, grains, wood, tobacco leaves and fruits like apricots and red apples. Much cleaner than your typical Torobayo.
Flavor is sweet, with subtle hops showing notes of red apples, bread, fruits, cereal and orange/carrot juice. Very nice, clean and crisp.
Body is medium with carbonation lighter than bottled torobayos. Much cleaner and pure mouthfeel. Finish is slightly dry. Pretty good Pale Ale. Sully (1367), Woolloomooloo, New South Wales, Australia
| 1.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 2/10 | 3/5 | 6/20 | Jul 20, 2005 The reat difference beween this and the filtered version is harshness. Almost like a Coopers Sparkling Ale with a bit of metallic tang. A bit of a disappointment actually. Linc (736), Sydney, Australia
| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Nov 22, 2002 For some reason the unfiltered version has a really short, sharp flavour. It bites you on the tongue, lets you know it’s quite hoppy but doesnt hang around long enough for you to enjoy any flavour.
