Oct 2, 2007 The beer is on tap at Edelweiss in Norridge, on Irving Park Road in IL. It is, by far, the best beer I have ever had. They have it classified as BBK Octoberfest.

Oct 1, 2007 330ml bottle served chilled. Very nice to look at with its deep brown body topped by a moderate, dense and off-white head. Pale malty aroma. Momentary taste of hops and tangy malts. Medium carbonated and quite mouth filling (Flughafen, Frankfurt 11.09.2007).

Sep 27, 2007 Clear straight amber pour topped by a sticky, lasting off-white head. Quite a simplistic alt, but not unpleasant. It starts off with straight pure sweet caramel, but manages to dries out with its dark toasted notes and hesitant, yet ultimately effective herbal hops. A bit roughly done, feeling like a draft, but still quite drinkable.

Jun 21, 2007 Tap at Laschet’s. Very bock-like in taste. Malty and sweet. Some darkness pushing through, but tasty. Definitely had a sort of primal taste to it. Very much an alt in character.
