| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Aug 1, 2008 The best before was 3 weeks ago, but it seems of no difference for this beer. The color is brown/black and the head is huge, nice and creamy. The aroma has notes of roasted malt, cocoa and a little licorice. The flavour has a light sweetness, notes of roasted malt, cocoa, a little licorice and the finish is dry and citrussy. It’s a nice schwartzbier without too much sweetness. fonefan (11640), VestJylland, Denmark

Fine aroma with loads of ingredients hoping for a great moment next minute. Flavor is in the direction of a Köstritzer which is rare seen, but maybe I’m the only one, hahaha. Roasted malts and an almost black nice liquid with a great creamywhite head. Creamy, bread, schwarzy fullbodied and caramel. Wanna try it again. Good schwarzbier...and I’m looking forward to see it changed in its style! Papsoe (14996), Frederiksberg, Denmark

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jul 10, 2007 Bottle. Pours a nice dark mahogany red with a frothy, creamy off white head. There is lots of lacing as well. Aroma is quite mild, a touch of roasted maltyness. Flavour is very roasted, not particularly sweet - only in the beginning. The roastedness really gives it a dry finish. Actually this feels like a dunkel Guinness (though not as good). But the dry bitterness really stays after some time. larsniclas (3386), Gothenburg, Sweden
