Bottle at Löwenbräu Buttenheim. It’s a warm golden pilsner with a nice, creamy head and a pleasant and refreshing hoppy aroma. The flavour has a light malty sweetness and a refreshing, hoppy, slightly dry bitterness, but it ends slightly sweet. It’s a very charming pilsner.

Dec 31, 2007 bottle, thank you pivnizub! Clear golden colour, large head. Lovely perfumy hoppy aroma. Bitter-sweet, full-bodied and very hoppy with a resiny bitter finish. Reminds me of a good Bohemian Pilsener. Great!

Nov 3, 2007 Bottle. Clear light yellow / amber color with a small to average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is light to moderate malty, toasted, grain, dust. Flavor is moderate sweet and light bitter with a average duration. Body is light to medium, texture is watery, carbonation is soft. (201007)

Dec 14, 2006 Draught, at the brewpub, October 2006. Gold, thin short lived white head and good condition. Gentle flowery hop sweetness in the nose, sweet and slightly fruity in the mouth with a developing bitterness and a restrained chalkiness which lingers into the finish with some hop bitterness and a slight yeasty sweetness.
