RSRIZZO (1018), Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA Oct 10, 2007 Had this beer on 2/1/2000. Aroma is a light crisp malt scent. Carbonation is very good with a thick head. Taste is light crisp and clean. Starting with a light body it goes down crisp. The finish a light malt flavor with only the faintest hint of a roasted taste. It doesn’t seem to be much more than a dark colored Pilsner. MOJOAG (2), AUSTIN, Texas, USA does not count Sep 14, 2007 FLAVOR IS ROBUST. AFTERTASTE IS STRONG AND TART. APPEARANCE OUT OF BOTTLE IS CRISP AND CLEAR, BUT BELIES THE FLAVOR. kp (6200), Woodstock, Georgia, USA Sep 1, 2007 Name: Lowenbrau Dark

cking (731), North Canton, Ohio, USA Jun 1, 2007 Rated 12/4/06: Pretty standard fare here, used to be a dirt cheap sixer back in the day. Seems harder to come across now. Weak aroma very grainy, nice dark pour moderate head. Very quenching and drinkable. Flavor has some bite to it, good maltiness and very little hop presence. Average dunkel but decent for the buck.
