eraserhd10 (226), new haven, Connecticut, USA Oct 29, 2004 Pale, golden color which I thought to be most unusual for an Octoberfest offering. Pleasantly flavorful. Smooth, Crisp, Hints of Lemon and Cornflakes. Nice, slight butteriness on the finish. Resembles a pilsener in my opinion. More than ample carbonation.

Sweet, malty, peppry alcohol taste. Medium to smooth mouthfeel, rather low bitterness. It started quite bad, but grows on you after a few sips. 5/2/6/3/10=2.6 anthlovesbeer (61), north grafton, Massachusetts, USA Apr 28, 2008 A leader in Octoberfest beers. This is a true original. Sweet at first and finishes with a nice well-balanced maltiness. Head disappears quickly but attaches nicely to the glass with each sip.
