Bottle and on tap, can’t remember ever having in a can. Clear gold pour with small white head. Hops with grassy grains. Crisp and clear with a smooth light malt taste. Slight dry sweet finish. Middle of the road great German brew. I would take this over a lot of other liquid crap like Miller, Coors, Mud, Shark, etc.

Jan 4, 2009 Pale yellow color with a foamy white head. Quite weak grassy aroma. Light malty flavor with a metallic hint to it.

Jan 4, 2009 Bottle. Pours pale gold with a 2 finger creamy white head that has fairly decent retention. Aroma is fairly weak even swirled, some sweet grain, straw, grassy hops and a hint of hop spice, a little soap in there too. Flavor is grainy, some grassy hops, plenty of fresh cut sweet hay, buttermilk tang and a little touch of chalky bitterness at the end. An extremely clean crisp and refreshing brew, I love it with cheesy American style Mexican food, other that that it’s kinda boring though.

Jan 2, 2009 500ml Canned. Quite pale, looks almost like a witbier. Aroma ok, bit of yeast and flour. The taste is hoppy but completely without imagination or complexity. Still drinkable though.
