TheCaptain (361), Lancaster, Pennsylvania, USA Jun 19, 2008 Bottle and on tap, can’t remember ever having in a can. Clear gold pour with small white head. Hops with grassy grains. Crisp and clear with a smooth light malt taste. Slight dry sweet finish. Middle of the road great German brew. I would take this over a lot of other liquid crap like Miller, Coors, Mud, Shark, etc.
Steely (79), , Sweden Jan 4, 2009 Pale yellow color with a foamy white head. Quite weak grassy aroma. Light malty flavor with a metallic hint to it. fidelis83 (222), Clinton, Iowa, USA Jan 4, 2009 Bottle. Pours pale gold with a 2 finger creamy white head that has fairly decent retention. Aroma is fairly weak even swirled, some sweet grain, straw, grassy hops and a hint of hop spice, a little soap in there too. Flavor is grainy, some grassy hops, plenty of fresh cut sweet hay, buttermilk tang and a little touch of chalky bitterness at the end. An extremely clean crisp and refreshing brew, I love it with cheesy American style Mexican food, other that that it’s kinda boring though. Tranquillity (1120), Espoo, Finland Jan 2, 2009 500ml Canned. Quite pale, looks almost like a witbier. Aroma ok, bit of yeast and flour. The taste is hoppy but completely without imagination or complexity. Still drinkable though. PaulHegedus (187), Brampton, Ontario, Canada Jan 1, 2009 500ml can. Pours yellow with a nice tall, lasting head. Highly carbonated. Smells yeasty and buttery. I taste some honey, grass. Finishes sweet with some light bitterness. altacyr (112), Campinas, Brazil Dec 31, 2008 Espuma clara e pouco duradoura. Aroma suave e paladar com discreto amargor residual.
