Aroma is sweet caramel maltish, and flavour is sweet and dominated by caramel as well, with a slightly bitter finish. Body is rather light allmost watery. mabel (1583), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Jun 12, 2008 [1213-20080320] 500mL bottle. Mild caramel malt aroma has a bit of grainy alcohol noticeable. Clear, red brown body with a quick foamy light tan head. Burnt caramel malt flavour has grainy coffee ground notes. Smooth medium-full body. Nice, repeatable, and suprisingly not too alcoholic.

Flavor is caramel malt, not too sweet but it does linger a bit. Finishes slightly bitter. Good. yespr (6162), Copenhagen O, Denmark May 15, 2008 50 cL bottle. Pours dark brown with aredish glare and dense tan head. Dense malt aroma with light alcohol note and a breadish scent. Flavour is sweet malty, light caramel note and a solid dense malt and alcohol mix. Warming alcohol finish with a light fruity note. Vague fruity earthy aroma with notes of wild berries. Sweet delicately roasted toffee and malts taste with notes of wild berries and licorice. Dry peppery roasty licorice aftertaste lingers for a long time. Some alcohol heat. Very good! (0.3l draft at Buthmanns, Lübeck.)
