Bottle: Amber coloured, small lacing head; roast-malty, barnyardy and slightly alcoholic nose; moderate sweet flavour, medium to full bodied; barnyardy, fruity and distinctive alcoholic finish. A harsh, not well rounded Bock, rather mediocre by franconian standards.......

(bottle) Clear, dark bown colour with a foamy off-white medium head. Sweet roast-malty aroma with barnyard-character and a present, slightly brandy-like alcoholic note. Sweet flavour, medium to full bodied, smooth mouthfeel. Malty, moderately roasted taste with light notes of caramel and again that touch of barnyard; sweet and malty finish with a moderate alcoholic note. Not perfectly balanced but still drinkable Bock.
