Ungstrup (11930), Frederiksberg, Denmark May 22, 2007 Bottled. A hazy amber beer with a thick orange head. The aroma is sweet fruity - especially peaches, combined with stinging notes of carraway seeds, and light burnt plastic notes. The flavor is sweet and salt with notes of wheat, fruit, and an acidic citrus note, leading to a dry end. Another mistake. Papsoe (11421), Frederiksberg, Denmark May 28, 2007 (Bottle 50 cl) Courtesy of Enjoyit/MPA. Hazy, amber golden with a handsome, dense, off-white head leaving laces. Citrusy, acidic and infected aroma. Medium body with dry notes of oranges. Quite bitter with an extreme, lactic dryness. Clearly infected - as most Løkken beers. 200507 yespr (8539), Copenhagen O, Denmark May 28, 2007 From 50 cL bottle. Pours hazy orange with a off white head. Aroma is sweet malty with citric touch, a bit yeasty/fruity. Flavour is bitter, malty with a rather sur fruit note. Finish is dry. Boring. MiP (6723), Flensburg, Germany May 1, 2007 Draught at Frederikshavn øl- og vinfestival 07. Cloudy brown colour. Nice, big, creamy, stable light brown head. Brown sugar flavour with slightly harsh bitterness. The hops seem a bit strange, Campari bitterness. fonefan (6078), Ulfborg, Denmark Jun 1, 2007 Draught @ Løkken Bryghus. Unclear amber / orange color with a large frothy good lacing mostly lasting off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, notes of barley malt and fruit. Flavor is light to moderate sweet and moderate bitter (malt bitter) with a average to long duration. Body is light to medium, carbonation is soft.
