Ale_Drinker (1073), Sunnyvale, California, USA Jul 16, 2008 This is the best beer of the four I tried. There is a perfume quality to all of their beers that I don’t care for. Reminds me a bit of handsoap. This one had less perfume and more caramel flavor than the others. On tap at Montreal locatoin on St Denis. rman18 (174), South Amboy, New Jersey, USA Jun 16, 2008 I was not overly impressed by this one. It was a nice amber with no head. Very little flavor or smell. Not much palate either. I expected better. gskarlov (1), Houghton, Michigan, USA does not count Dec 1, 2007 The beer is a gorgeous amber, mostly clear with a slight sparkle. The minimal head is white. It has a moderate bitter flavor with a slight sweet taste. It has a long finish. SHIG (1555), Oberoffligen, Germany Nov 9, 2007 Bottle: Poured a brown amber with nice creamy off white head. The aroma was fruity ans some kinda of sugary substance. The taste is fruit and that sugary substance seemed to be a caramel type malt. mabel (1673), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Aug 20, 2007 [516-20070811] Tap @ 3 Brasseurs (Montréal, QC). Muted malt grain aroma with faint hints of generic fruit. Clear, amber red body with a medium-lasting foamy white head. Bitter malt flavour has a light fruit background and citrus hops throughout. Medium body, quite astringent. Recommended by a regular to the brewpub who drinks this by the litre, though it was sadly disappointing.
