My god, this was so bad. My initital smell conjoured up unwanted thoughts of old jism. Sadly with that in my head I really couldn’t shift it. Sorry guys, I was nearly ill. | 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Nov 24, 2007 Small white head, with some lace; clear foxy-orange colour. Mustard seed, or real (green) Dijon mustard, pickles, Thai herbs. Special! And not bad, neither. Same, slightly fiery, very spicy mustard taste (like tarragon mustard). Touch of caramel. Good balance, all the same. Sourish ending, like lemon on celeri. Not very well-bodied, spritzy. Very original taste - which makes me doubt seriously this would be another St. Monon ambrée clone . What the Dickens did Jacob add to this one? ChristianScheffel (4632), Odense, Denmark

Sweet and sour aroma with cheesy, yeasty, berryish, candyish, grapefruity and lemony notes. Sweet, acidic, tart, yeasty and grapefruity flavor. Very weird beer with a sharp acidity on the back of the throat.
