Doggythedog (1020), Split, Croatia Apr 27, 2005 Bottle from Mercator, Zadar. Apparently the closest Laško can get to an n/a. Heh. Completely useless here with the zero tolerance law. It has a nice pale golden colour, with a thick and unstable white head. Fizzy. Faint typical n/a malt smell mingling with bread, honey and some typical Laško skunk. The taste is bready and lemony, but the lack of alcohol is all too obvious. Metallic hints as well, and it’s from a bottle. Is it me, or are beers with a low alc.vol more prone to catching that nasty metallic flavor ? I caught some hints of Propolis as well (medication made from....something made by bees). Faint bitter aftertaste showing that there might actually be some hops in there. Not really disgusting, even drinkable when really, really cold, but not much, and it’s not with the best low alcohols I’ve tried. ogivlado (2399), Zagreb, Croatia Dec 22, 2002 Bottled(500ml). -very bad beer, bad taste, awful aroma and 1.7% alcohol content Kĺstĺ (1144), Mol, Belgium Dec 3, 2002 Blond beer with a huge head. The aroma is the typical Slovenian hop with a hint of gunpowder. Strange, but true. A slightly spicy taste in an otherwise rather flat beer. A slihgtly hoppy, bitter finish.
