| 0.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 1/5 | 2/10 | 1/5 | 2/20 | Oct 16, 2006 Bottled. I have rarely seen a more disgusting looking beer. Very hazy with loads of huge chunks everywhere. Even in the foam there is brown chunks. As expected from a beer with such an appearance the aroma is extremely yeasty. Some notes of rotten fruits. Extremely yeasty and cloyingly sweet flavour, again with some rotten fruit notes. Totally unbalanced and unclean. Undrinkable. bager (2121), Copenhagen N, Denmark

| 4.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 10/10 | 5/5 | 18/20 | Oct 14, 2006 Updated: Apr 26, 2008Lucid dark copper with a light tan head. Very nice color. Nose is barnyardy, lemon, grapefruit, apricot, and hay. Carbonation is just right. Crisp citrus gives way to raisin and stewed plum, then to toffee and coffee with the hops. A little bit of toasted almond too. I love the way the complexity of the flavors roll from front to back. This ale gives a faint sweet impression but is dry overall with good hopping. Absolutely beautiful.
