Bottle pours hazy and float ridden gold with a large very white head and strong lace. The head is so strong it feels like whipped topping when trying to sip the beer underneath. The aroma is slightly sour, spicy, and fruity. The flavor is, wow, so much happening here that works very well with my senses. The flavor has some sweetness that is nicely held back by spice and some bitterness that lingers. The palate is very refreshing, cleansing, and quenching. This is solid and under-rated. There is no note of the 7% abv. I think my new favorite style is either Bière de Garde or Saison. Yes, this is even more a pleasure as it warms. I can get more of this. This will be an awesome camping beer in the Minnesota heat...

Bottle. Large, frothy, fizzy white head with a lot of floaties, virtually no lacing, carbonation observed, slightly hazy, and a straw to golden hue. Nose was sweet, fruity, spicy, and lightly malty. Flavor was sweet, fruity, spicy, malt, and somewhat bitter tasting. Smooth, thin mouthfeel and light in body. Thanks, but no thanks on this one as I could not acquire a liking for the taste. I did not like the way the different flavors meshed or not meshed in this case. Next.

Appearance: Pours a clear, orange-yellow body with a small, fizzy white head. Smell: The aroma is a mixture of candied lemons, fresh-picked flowers, as well as dust-strewn peaches and pears. Taste: Sweet, light maltiness imparts a sugar cookie flavor. Lightly acidic. Hint of yeast. A floral hoppiness, along with the taste of lemons and a medium bitterness help to shoo away some of the sugar for a bittersweet finish. Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied. Moderate carbonation. Drinkability: It’s good (certainly better than I was expecting).

A dark orange appearance with a large frothy head. The aroma is quite herbal with some lemons and spices. The flavor is quite yeasty with some lemons, oranges, whipped cream, and spices. The finish showed some notes of alcohol. The mouthfeel was very carbonated. Overall a very nice beer.

Pours a slightly hazy golden with a full-lacing white head. Aroma of sweet sugary pale malt with a touch of earthy hops. Body starts with fairly full and pale malty sweet with some light fruity esters and earthy bittering hops. Has a mild complexity and decent drinkability. A decent Biere de Garde, but I prefer the darker version.
