Malty sweet cookie dough flavor with a well blended flowery hopbitterness. Butter cookies, flowers, citrus and some perfume in the aftertaste. Maybe a bit too perfumed, but still a pleasant brew. bu11zeye (5621), Frisco, Texas, USA

Comments: Another extremely yeasty beer from Theillier. If it’s as variable as the regular Bavaisienne, this rating won’t be worth much, but I did find it an enjoyable, sweet pale farmy ale with characteristic musty and almost earthy, salty notes. hopscotch (5537), Vero Beach, Florida, USA

Excellent retention. Fruity, malty nose with clover honey and a misplaced note of ash. The flavor is sweet, fruity and breadsy. Light-bodied and watery with gentle carbonation. Sweet, clover finish. Thanks to 1FastSTi for sharing his bottle! CaptainCougar (5530), Rockville, Maryland, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Dec 15, 2007 Pours a slightly hazy golden with a full-lacing white head. Aroma of sweet sugary pale malt with a touch of earthy hops. Body starts with fairly full and pale malty sweet with some light fruity esters and earthy bittering hops. Has a mild complexity and decent drinkability. A decent Biere de Garde, but I prefer the darker version.
