Pours cloudy dark peach with medium foamy head. Aroma is intense white bread, honey, caramel, dough, and woody, vineous fruitiness. Flavor is thick doughy butterscotch with strong vineous fruits and peppery spiciness countered with a pleasant musty caramelly background. Overall, extremely sweet, bready flavor throughout. 11.2oz bottle is a meal in itself. yarr

Dec 30, 2008 Bottle. Golden bronze pour, very thick and creamy white head, and lacing. Yeasty aromas, some banana and clove. Flavors of dark fruit, banana, and a nice hoppy finish. Very smooth, ABV is nowhere to be found. Somewhat surprised by this one.

Dec 9, 2008 pours golden with a large fluffy white it, it has spicy aroma that is yeasty and fruity. the flavor is citrusy with hint of coriander, and the hopping is mild.

Dec 6, 2008 Bouteille de 330ml, acheté au LCBO de Rideau et King Edward à Ottawa, le 29 novembre 2008. Blonde légèrement brumeuse, peu de collet. légé arome d houblon sec, un peu sucré. Goût très alcoolisé, bien entendu avec un petit kick houblonné et une finission sucre malté et céréal légèrement croustillant. Comme les deux autres Bière du Boucanier que j ai bu avant, c est l alcool qui est un peu trop dominant!

Nov 29, 2008 Pours a golden yellow with a thin white sticky head. The aroma is of yellow lemon suckers and pepto bismal. The flavour starts out with some odd malty sweetness that I can’t pin a flavour too, the middle a dry hoppiness that finishes off with a lemon sucker flavour. Aftertaste is yeasty with a bit of the saaz hops showing up. All and all a pretty decent beer with good drinkability.
