Very big unstable light brown head. The flavour is also quite yeasty. There is also a lot of maltiness, some fruitiness. But not clean at all. Drinkable, but not so good. Decent darkish beer aroma with some decent malts. It’s not too sweet and the aroma is pretty good and I do like the slightly burnt brown sugar malts. Fine mabel (2626), Toronto, Ontario, Canada

| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | May 23, 2009 Bottle. A hazy deep red beer with a huge and enough persistent, creamy beige head. The aroma has some maltiness with notes of caramel, cherry, alcohol and some spices. The flavour has a certain amount of sweetness and acidity, the last probably excessive at the first sips. Again fruity (cherry). Not enough balanced. Medium body, lively carbonation, quite long finish with almost medium bitterness, some alcohol is felt. Decent, though not exciting.
