Commercial Description:
energetic and full-bodied taste with sweetish pronounced tone, brown copper color and with a creamy foam of beige tonality, bouquet harmonious and elegant. Category "Belgian Strong Dark Ale", style "brown ale", this beer is produced with the method of the triple fermentation, means that it has three doses of malt more than the quantity used for other beers, added in three different phases of workmanship, like the last phase where the malt is directly put in the bottle or the keg.

Flavour is treacle, and brown sugar, opaque pomeganite in colour, pours an enormous, long lasting, rocky, off-white head, has lots of carbonation and plenty of lace. Tastes of candied malt, treacle and alcohol. Medium bodied, pleasantly sweet and warming(boozey) finish is a woody bitterness. Pretty good.

Opaque dark brown with lots of floaties and a large beige head. Sweet aroma with toffee malts and dark raisin fruits. There’s a bitter balance to the flavour, serving it a lovely lasting aftertaste. The medium palate is bolstered by the sweetness and the very present alcohol. A very enjoyable strong ale.

Cake-like yeast is prominent along with soy, brown sugar and honey in the aroma. Opaque reddish brown body is topped with a decent, fine-bubbled, tan head that recedes to ring. Herbal hops, cake-dough yeast and sharp citrus orange character with caramel malt sweetness in a somewhat muddled flavour that never comes together for me. Medium body with pointy, sharp, prickly, strong carbonation. Bottle sampled at Den Tatoverede Enke in Copenhagen.

Extremely persistent and creamy foam, hazel color . Black dark color, totally impenetrable, and much elegant one. Determined braced malty scent, alcohol, sugar, caramel, coffee and liqueur. Much powerful and complex. Discreetly prickly and flowery on the end. Detached and balanced bitter.

Transluscent dark red, almost brown with brilliant clarity and a well sustained, tan head. Sweet cream, dark fruit, toast and clover honey make up the aroma. Heavy complex sweetness that is balanced by the alcohol. Though this comes from a crown capped bottle it has a touch of cork-like character to it. Big, spicy alcohol and saturated sugar with dark, clover honey malt character.

Opaque brown with an off white head, malty and sugary aroma, flavor is exceptionally sweet, like someone dumped nutra sweet in the bottle, but with a bit of caramel and ripe dark fruit as well.

(Bottle 33 cl) Light brown with an orange glow and a thick, stable almost whipped creamish head. Lots of roasted malt in the aroma. First impression is sweetness, a massive, sticky sweetness. But as things gradually settle on my palate more subtle features are detected. Flavours of roasted- and caramel malt. Rather complex composition with notes of overripe fruit, almost vinous - like desert wine. And you even get a short bitterness at the end. A lovely beer - but still a bit too sweet. 130905

Bottled. Sampled at Delirium Café, Göteborg. Dark copper. Glue nose along with sweet malt, bit toffee-like. Sweet malty, bit spicy with fruity/berry notes.
