| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Apr 22, 2009 Pours a dark reddish brown with a thick tan head. Aroma is strong with dark fruits, raisins really stand out along with sweet malts. It also has a sweet-sugar aroma. I detected hints of banana and fig. The flavor is the same as the aroma with a dry finish. This is not a bad beer, but it is far from a favorite. floydian1 (287), FNQ, Australia

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Dec 8, 2008 Bottle: Pours a rusty amber with a hick spritzy tan head. Sweet Belgian malts dominate the aroma giving off dried fruits of fig, and a brown sugar sweetness. The body is very gassy, with a dark fruit flavor. Notes of fig, prune, raisin- with later malt flavors of toasted brown suagr. A standard Belgian Dark Ale- not standout.
