Commercial Description:
energetic and full-bodied taste with sweetish pronounced tone, brown copper color and with a creamy foam of beige tonality, bouquet harmonious and elegant. Category "Belgian Strong Dark Ale", style "brown ale", this beer is produced with the method of the triple fermentation, means that it has three doses of malt more than the quantity used for other beers, added in three different phases of workmanship, like the last phase where the malt is directly put in the bottle or the keg.

A deep red beer with a huge chocolate brown head. The aroma is sweet with notes of raisins, pears, cinnamon, oranges, and even hints of carrot. The flavor is sweet with clear notes of alcohol, but also lots of fruit, raisins, pear, cinnamon, and peach. A somewhat weird combination, but very nice. It is quite carbonated, yet the mouthfeel is smooth. Thanks Alex (fiulijn) for bringing this to Denmark before it was available here.

(Bottle 33 cl) Light brown with an orange glow and a thick, stable almost whipped creamish head. Lots of roasted malt in the aroma. First impression is sweetness, a massive, sticky sweetness. But as things gradually settle on my palate more subtle features are detected. Flavours of roasted- and caramel malt. Rather complex composition with notes of overripe fruit, almost vinous - like desert wine. And you even get a short bitterness at the end. A lovely beer - but still a bit too sweet. 130905

33 cL bottle@fonefan/Brugmansia’s Cnudde tasting. Pours hazy dark orange with a lacing bubbly head. Mild yeasty and malty aroma. Flavour starts caramel sweet and shows a light yeasty flavour before the finish. Ends with a light bitterness and mellow yeasty flavour.

Bottled. Cloudy ruby. Aroma of toffeish malt with some berry-like acidity. Sweet and solidly malty with rounded mouthfeel. The peppery alcohol adds some complexity, but it fails to impress.

Bottle @<a href=http://www.ratebeer.com/forums/cnudde-ølsmagn target=_new> Cnudde Tasting.. Unclear light red brown color with a large - huge, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, caramel, brown sugar, dusty. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. (290308)

Bottle, 9%. Yeasty aroma, rough maltiness. Cloudy dark brown colour. Very big unstable light brown head. The flavour is also quite yeasty. There is also a lot of maltiness, some fruitiness. But not clean at all. Drinkable, but not so good.

Bottled, Dark rubyish brown colour with huge beige creamy head. Aroma is dry dark fruit, some sourness and some slight yeast and alcohol. Flavour is raisins, metal, caramel and some bittering hops. Flavour hides the alcohol well. Not very exciting, I liked the blonde (golden) one way better.

Red colour with a beige head. Sweet flavour with notes of fruit, alcohol and acidic notes. Very carbonated. Nice sweet fruity flavour with notes of spices and alcohol.
