donteatpoop (112), Youngstown, Ohio, USA Mar 30, 2008 Poured a nice clear amber ale; almost red. A small white head was present upon initial pour but it quickly dissipated.
Smells of caramel and malts and various fruits that I was unable to pinpoint. I’m sure they’re there though.
Excellent tasting beer, very rich. The sweetness of the caramels and mystery fruits balance nicely with the malts.
Very smooth in the mouth, almost creamy. Went down great and gave me two of the most marvelous belches I have ever been given by a beer (I almost rated "mouthfeel" higher on account of this, but wasn’t sure if that was an accurate use of the category), and it tasted almost as good upon its return as it did when I took it down the first time.
While I greatly enjoyed this ale, and probably would have opened a second one had it been available; it was a bit too rich for me to drink more than one or two in a sitting.
All in all a great beer that made me glad to have looked beyond the price in favor of the experience.

wilderthanyou (334), Guelph, Ontario, Canada Nov 28, 2008 Pours a golden honey colour with a thick white head that disappears, and leaves behind some nice sticky lacing. The aroma is light and sweet, with candied orange being the most prominent scent. The flavor is relatively sweet, with candied orange being the baseline flavour on which some other sugary fruit flavours sit, some hops show up but only for a breif moment before the swallow, the aftertaste is yeasty. All and all the beer is interesting, flavour is good, aroma is was decent, not very complex, but not bad. Skidds (214), Ottawa, Ontario, Canada Nov 28, 2008 Pours a light copper colour. Very strong and pleasant aroma of fruits and yeast. Sweet flavour of caramel. Best of the 3 i think. terrybail (184), , Ontario, Canada Nov 15, 2008 330ml bottle as part of a sampler pack from the LCBO

sebletitje (579), Tampa, Florida, USA Oct 7, 2008 Pours copper.
Aroma is bready, sugary, yeasty with light caramel.
Taste, beer was filled with floating transparent chunks, sugary, yeasty. Very sweet. A decent Belgian Ale. Angeloregon (2023), Portland, Oregon, USA Oct 1, 2008 From Bottleworks in Seattle--Golden-amber bodied with a small frothy white head. Sticky candied nose. Floral mildly cloying chewy malt flavor. Enjoyable but a bit on the sweet side. Nice hops presence but dominated by candy sugar.
