mulderbelgie (10), Belgium Sep 3, 2009 great beer for a thirsty belgian folk. Founded on tap at the brewery itself where it taste wonderfull, a bit less better on bottle (looks like the refermentation was a bit hasardous) I really enjoy that amber beer with bready aromas and a strong flavour. oh6gdx (8795), Vasa, Finland Nov 2, 2008 Bottled (from Belgian Shop, early 2008). Amber colour, mediumsized off-white head. Some lace. Aroma is bready, slightly yeasty as well as some mild notes of wood. Flavour is strongly wooden, mildly spicy along with some hints of fruits and grass. gregmurer (7), ydes, France does not count Oct 1, 2008 That beer is simply perfect on tap... but the bottle are quite uninterestings...
It look interesting, except the foam that is too low in time. The aromas are almost inexistants, the flavors are too light.
Just forget to drink it at home... But if you’ve got the chance to drink it on tap... just do it... it’s really different. thebeertourist (2750), Oslo, Norway Sep 27, 2008 Bottle. Clear amber with a medium yellowish head. Grainy nose, some spices. Grainy maltiness, some caramel flavours and fruit. Boring. BoBoChamp (1334), Gent, Belgium Aug 27, 2008 25cl, from Geers Oostakker, easy to drink, not complex, clear, small head, simpel brew Jerre (1755), Waregem, Belgium Feb 19, 2008 Bottle, boutgh at Geers. MaltOMeal (642), Land of Sugar, Texas, USA Dec 1, 2007 bottle from trade with Papsoe. Pours a copper color with thin off-white head that left some lacing. Aroma is sweet malt, fruit and bready yeast. Flavor is sweet, malt, some fruit. No hop bitterness of note. Palate is medium to thin with a little carbonation. Overall a bit too mild and thin. Only a so-so beer.
