Medium straw yellow, light white head, gentle light lacing. Rather grainy nose, with okay extracted malts. Mellow corny, cookieish notes, somewhat hay-like grassiness, but rather tame and sweet global character. Faint hops betray the advanced age which does not appear appropriate for this beer. Faded honey flavours, soft oxidized notes. Light bodied, biting carbonation though mild.

(Bottled) Clear amber color with a small head. Slightly roasty, caramely-malty, slightly perfumy aroma with a hint of sweetish smokiness and hops. Sweetish-malty base with some woody hops. Light to medium-bodied palate with fizzy, quite hard carbonation. A very basic, easily drinkable amber ale with not much hops.

Bottled: Light amber colloured. Clear. Fluffy white head. Wasn’t doing this beer a favour, that it was enjoyed right after Haandbryggeriets Ardenne Blond. Light bland and vague aroma and flavour. Some fruits, very light spices and some malty and yeasty notes, thats hardly detectable. Is quite watery and thin. Not my kind of belgian ale. Too anonymous.

Bottled. Amber, small white head. Floury aroma. Dry, papery palate. Notes of vegetables in the aroma. Feels a bit weirs. Could it be old?

Bottle
Amber, low foamy head. Apricot and sugary caramel aroma. Vey fizzy mouthfeel insulates from the sweet fruity flavor. Watery hereafter and with a neutral finish.

Bottled at RBESG. Clear golden. Toffee aroma. Medium sweet with obvious almond character and medium body. Standard style Belgian golden ale of respectable quality.

Clear amber with a musty toffee aroma. Flavour is a malty toffee but not very sweet, on the weak side with some odd flavours. Not too keen on this one.
