Commercial Description:
A honey beer that never lets you forget the fact. Although there is only a slight trace of it in the nose the intensity of the honey in the palate may be a bit much for some people. This is an accomplished beer that oozes quality yet retains a small brewery taste. Also sold as Berenbier in Flanders.

Hazy golden beer; medium off-white head. Some honey, flowers or blossoms, orange marmelade, even ginger marmelade in the nose. Honey is there immediately in the taste, and unmistakably flowery, fresh taste, bit grassy. Honey stays all the way. Just enough carbonation to underline the refreshing qualities, light to medium bodied, high attenuation. The ideal spring beer? Great character, "light" beer - only, at 8.4% it might be a tad overconfident considering it a quaffing ale.

Pours an orange/yellow colour with a thick, solid white head. Aromas of fruity esters, floral hops spices and some mild honey notes. A good crisp carbonation with flavours of honey, dry hops, yeast and some alcohol. An O.K. belgian.

Bottle from Beers of Europe. Cloudy orange/yellow colour with nice white head. Aroma is orange, honey, yeasty, bubblegum and coriander. Taste doesn’t disappoint, with the same elements; nice dry finish, and the alcohol is well hid. Moderate carbonation; crisp and drinkable. Very nice.

Body is cloudy orange colour with a strong honey and orange aroma. Has a spicy honey flavor that over powers this one. A tangy finish.

Cloudy blonde colour and a fluffy white head. Spicy Belgian aroma, coriander and loads of bubble gum up front with nice citrus and yeast notes. Flavour is also spicy and yeasty. Very light and sweet on the front with a dry finish. I can’t believe this is 8.4% ABV because it goes down so smooth.

Pungent yeasty nose, hazy pale orange-yelllow color, sticky head. Vanilla tones amidst a doughy taste. Little peppery finish. Creamy mouthfeel. The alcohol comes through after the swallow

Cloudy light orange in color with an interesting honey spice aroma. Delicous honey spice malty flavours, a bit dry and lots of flavour, very nice!

Light orange color, medium rocky head, light cilantro yeast nose kind of weird. Light honey and bread dough taste, medium sweet with a slightly peppery finish.
